MATTERS first launched its mobile app in June 2022 to improve rapid access to resources for opioid and substance use disorders. Since then, the program has expanded its service offerings and geographic reach. The MATTERS team is excited to announce a mobile app update that streamlines navigation, making it faster to access resources and education on substance use disorder.

What’s New?

Our updated mobile app now provides resources across multiple states! Recognizing that many individuals live in one state but work or spend time in neighboring states, this mobile app expansion offers greater flexibility for both patients and referral partners. MATTERS’ mobile app connects users to interactive maps across New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, making it easier than ever to connect to life-saving resources. MATTERS is grateful to partner with various agencies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania to make this initiative possible.

In addition to accessing community-based resources, the MATTERS Network mobile app streamlines access to harm reduction supplies, telemedicine evaluations, and MATTERS’ rapid referral platform. Patients and providers can download the app to make an appointment with a virtual prescriber or order free naloxone, test strips, and sterile syringes to be delivered via mail.
