We are proud to release our newest educational video on how to respond to an opioid overdose! This video walks through how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and effectively respond by using naloxone (commonly referred to as brand name Narcan).

Why is this important?

There were over 100,000 drug overdose deaths in 2023 and the vast majority (81,000+) were associated with opioid exposure (CDC, 2024). Drugs like fentanyl, xylazine, medetomidine, and nitazenes are contaminating the U.S. drug supply and increasing the risk of fatal overdoses for community members. It is important for community members to be trained in naloxone administration to save lives.
