New Video Now Available

With the help of Abbey Mecca & Co., MATTERS has developed a new telemedicine guide to assist individuals and organizations in accessing virtual care.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, MATTERS has partnered with several virtual providers to expand access to treatment for opioid and substance use disorders.

MATTERS telemedicine services are easily accessible on any electronic device. Individuals can connect to a virtual provider in as little as one hour to receive an evaluation, medication prescription (as applicable) and referral to treatment.

Individuals who use telemedicine services are linked to the exact same resources as patients who present in-person. These resources include the MATTERS medication voucher, transportation voucher, and peer support referral.

Telemedicine services help bridge the gap in treatment for many populations, including rural communities, people experiencing homelessness, and those with significant transportation barriers.

We hope that this video proves resourceful for individuals seeking linkage to rapid treatment for opioid use disorder.
