Buprenorphine Waiver Training in Dallas

Dr. Lynch served as an instructor for a new, Emergency Medicine-specific offering of Providers Clinical Support System DATA 2000 buprenorphine waiver training.  Hosted by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas Lynch delivered a newly approved curriculum that leads physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners towards obtaining their buprenorphine waiver. 

Leading X-Waiver trainings for physicians is an important strategy to increase access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). As more providers become eligible to prescribe buprenorphine, individuals with substance use disorder will have more options in terms of where to follow up for treatment.
